The floor model is a replica of the British infantry tank Matilda MK.III /IV.

The Matilda was developed as a heavily armoured infantry tank and was one of the British Army's main tanks in North Africa during the Second World War.

Matilda swept aside enemy Italian tanks and was respectfully dubbed the "Queen of the Desert" by German soldiers.

The TAMIYA model kit version in 1:48 scale, impresses with its accuracy of fit as well as its attention to detail. The additional figure makes dioramas or scenarios even more realistic.
