Product Description
The stand model is a replica of Gallic forces. The Romans called "Gauls" those Celtic tribes that often fought each other and lived in areas corresponding to modern France, Switzerland, Belgium and Holland. The Gaulish tribes occasionally found political unity only under the pressure of the Roman threat during Julius Caesar's campaign. The Gauls recognised Vercingetorix as their political and military leader. He was defeated by Caesar at the Battle of Alesia around 52 BC. The Gaulish warriors were distinguished by their long swords and ornate shields. Many of them fought naked.
Caution. Not suitable for children under 36 months.
