The floor model is a replica of a US fighter called the Vought F4U-1D Corsair, which is towed by a BNO-25. The Corsair was the first US fighter aircraft that could reach a speed of 644 Km/h. Due to its initial difficulties, it still needed some revision, as for example the long nose under the canopy obstructed visibility. This weak point and others were corrected with the F4U-1D version.
