The floor model is a replica of the Honda S600 Convertible. It was launched in March 1964. It was available as a roadster and a fastback coupe - introduced in March 1965. The S600 was the first Honda to be available in two trim levels. During production until 1966, the model design remained almost unchanged, with the most important changes being made to the radiator grille, bumper and headlights. The S600 produced 57 hp from a 606 cc 4-cylinder DOHC engine, which held its own against racing engines, and featured motorcycle-style chain-driven rear-wheel drive. Exports to Europe followed as the S600 quickly gained respect and popularity as a highly light and fast sports car.
