5 Towers, card game, for 2-5 players, from 7 years (DE edition)
In 5 Towers, players compete against each other in a masterful contest to build the tallest towers. Each round, 5 cards with tower sections are revealed and everyone takes turns bidding on how many of these cards they want to take. The person with the highest bid takes the announced number and builds them onto their towers. But only different towers may be built and each of them must be of the same type. In addition, the numerical values on the cards must become smaller and smaller from the bottom to the top. So the faster you build, the more difficult it is to make any bids at all.
The goal is to have the most points at the end of the game. You get 1 point for each card in your own towers. For each card in towers with a spire even 2 points. In addition, the highest own tower scores points, while cards that were torn down during the course of the game count as minus points.
5 Towers is a card game that is all about timing and courage to strike at the right moment. Author Kasper Lapp, who is already known for numerous innovative card games such as That's not a hat, once again surprises with an unusual game mechanism that only unfolds its depth in the course of the game. The colourful illustrations by Annika Heller are filled to the brim with film and game references and offer pop culture-loving players an entertaining additional layer.
