Product Description

The floor model is a replica of the Supermarine Spitfire MK1, considered by many to be the most aesthetically pleasing single-seat fighter aircraft to emerge during the Second World War. This aircraft was designed by Reginald J. Mitchell and had its maiden flight on 5 March 1936. The Spitfire was used to prevent German forces from attacking the English mainland in 1940. Accordingly, this aircraft has fought its way into the hearts of British citizens.
