The floor model is a replica of the Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero Fighter. The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was the main fighter of the Japanese Navy. The model continued to evolve, at some point the wings changed by 50 cm with rounded wingtips, giving a more manoeuvrable aircraft, and individual exhaust pipes were added, giving a top speed of 565 Km/h. The A6M5a was fitted with a larger cannon ammunition system in 1944 so that 125 rounds could be carried. The TAMIYA model kit version impresses with its accuracy of fit as well as its attention to detail.
