Product Description

The floor model is a replica of the Harrier GR. 3 Falklands War. The Harrier is probably the most famous aircraft with vertical / short take-off and landing capabilities in military history. Designed and developed by British manufacturer Hawker Siddeley in the 1960s, it took an active part in military operations during the Falklands / Malvinas War in 1982. More specifically, the Harrier Gr. 3, characterised by the adoption of new functions as a nosemounted. The laser tracker and integrated electronic countermeasures were very effective in close support and ground attack missions of the British Royal Air Force. With two 30 mm guns under the fuselage, the Harrier could carry a considerable amount of offensive weaponry, consisting of missiles, conventional bombs and laser-guided bombs. Thanks to the possibility of using two drop tanks under the wings, the range could be increased.
