The Russian winter was a gruesome combat environment, but both German and Russian troops had to contend with the bitter cold and biting conditions there during World War II. Dragon has put together a collection of five figure sets depicting German soldiers fighting in the depths of winter on the deadly Eastern Front. Previously, Dragon released a collection of 1/35th scale figures depicting soldiers fighting in the hot, sandy deserts of North Africa. This time, these well-packaged soldiers provide a stark contrast to the desert warriors.

Included in this assortment are five Dragon 1/35th scale figure sets. Most of these sets have been out of stock for some time, so this is the perfect opportunity for modellers to restock their shelves or build a vignette straight from the box. A range of weapons and uniform types are included - whether white snowsuits or thick sheepskin jackets, for example - but what all the figures have in common is that they are dressed appropriately for the Russian winter. All the figures are sharply sculpted and authentically modelled, representing Dragon's finest quality. This fine collection of winter warriors is a fine addition to the existing desert soldier range.
