P-47 Thunderbolt, model, 477 parts, 7 years and up
The P-47 Thunderboltâ„¢ is a single-seat fighter, the forerunner of modern multi-role combat aircraft. The largest single-engine fighter of World War II, more than 15,000 were produced and it was the most numerous and one of the most successful US fighter aircraft. The P-47 appeared on the fronts in Europe, Africa, the Far East and the Pacific. Because of its size, it was affectionately called the "Jug". It was short for "Juggernaut", which means "Colossus".
The P-47 was developed in 1/32 scale to match the rest of the collection from 477 COBI building blocks. The model contains high-quality prints that do not wear out during use. With their help, the historic "Little Chief" paint scheme and other details of the aircraft have been recreated. The model has many movable elements such as rotating wheels with rubber tyres, movable propellers and ailerons. You can place the pilot figure included in the set in the cabin! This is a great model for all history, aviation and collector enthusiasts. The whole set is complemented by a display stand and a sign with the model name printed on it.
