Mr. Jack in New York, board game, for 2 players, from 14 years (DE edition)
In the course of the investigation against Mr. Jack, Francis J. Tumblety, an impostor posing as a doctor, is arrested but then released on bail. He then flees to the United States. Informed by their British colleagues, the New York police set out to find Tumblety. Witnesses claim to have seen him in Manhattan, and crimes are committed that bear his signature. Is Tumblety really Mr. Jack? And if not, under what identity is he hiding?
Eight detectives gather in Manhattan in 1889 to finally apprehend Mr. Jack. But cunning as Mr. Jack is, he hides in their midst! Mr. Jack is a two-player game in which one of you takes on the role of Mr. Jack, while the other plays the investigator's counterpart. While Jack tries to conceal his true identity or flee under cover of darkness, the investigator tries to narrow the circle of suspects with the help of his detectives and arrest Jack.
Mr. Jack in New York is set on an ever-changing game board. By using the two moving exits (ocean liners), Mr. Jack can escape from Manhattan by sea. Another escape option available to him is a fixed exit by land. The investigator uses the detective's skills to gain a tactical advantage and make characters visible or invisible. Will he manage to catch the real Mr Jack before he escapes or eight rounds are over?
