In Fire & amp; Stone, the players lead their tribe of early humans from the African cradle of mankind out into the whole world. They explore new regions with their scouts, hunt, harvest nuts, mushrooms, apples and root vegetables and finally build villages. Whoever leads the most successful tribe through the Stone Age through expansion and development will win this game by successful author Klaus-Jürgen Wrede (Carcassonne). The inventions of new tools and techniques such as shipbuilding or pottery help to accelerate progress.
Every space the scouts can enter contains upside down discovery tokens. When a scout moves onto one of these tiles for the first time, they are turned over and trigger an effect. From now on, these tiles can be used as a player action with a different effect. At the end of the game, the winner is the player who was able to complete lucrative task cards and build cleverly positioned huts. Due to a random structure, each game develops differently and a mysterious cave brings an additional little trick into play every time.
