Bananas are yellow and strawberries are red ... aren't they? In the fast-paced card game "Blue Banana" by Piatnik, changing colors and symbols create a lot of confusion ... and a lot of fun! In the center of each game round there are two motif cards that show their respective symbols in the wrong colors. The eponymous blue banana, for example, indicates the blue whale symbol, whose true color is naturally blue, and the color yellow, the correct color of the banana.The two to five players always start at the same time and try to get as many cards as possible from the display that have the characteristics they are looking for. What sounds so simple, however, requires a lot of talent for combination and thinking around the corner! Is the brain fooled by the wrong colors or can you still recognize the motif you are looking for? And also which correct color belongs to the motif shown? Because collecting the cards constantly opens up new options and Blue Banana also depends on speed, mistakes are inevitable in the heat of the moment. However, you should not allow yourself too much of it, because every wrong decision will be punished! If one of the players believes that there are no matching cards left, he grabs the Blue Banana in the middle and gets extra points for it. After a total of eight rounds of play, the score will be counted and the one who could best "thinking around corners" can be happy about his victory.
