In the magical world of the Druids, players try to obtain their four powerful disciplines (colours) through tricks. Each trick obtained is sorted into its disciplines and placed on. The higher the last card of a discipline, the better the chances of winning. But be careful, if a player receives the fifth discipline, he loses. In addition, special cards can put many an acquired new strength to the test. Whoever has collected the most experience points at the end becomes "An dòigh", the wise man.
With its 65 imaginatively designed cards, Druids is the latest title in the successful "Wizard Series".
How to play Druids:
- Depending on the number of players, players receive 13 - 15 cards in their hand
- Whoever has the Gaia card in their hand starts the first trick with it
- For one trick, each player plays one card
- The highest card in the first suit played wins the trick
- The player who wins a trick places the cards in front of him, stacked and sorted by domains (colours). If several cards of the same domain are in the trick, the card with the lowest value is placed on top
- There are two special cards, "the mistletoe", with which the player can ward off a trick, and "the golden sickle", with which points can be taken from a player
- A game round ends immediately when a player has five domain stacks in front of him after a won trick. He is the loser of the round and receives three minus points
- The other players get their points by adding up the values of the cards on top of their stacks
- The player with the most points, after five rounds of play, wins
