Lim-5 Polish Air Force 1959, model, 575 parts, 7 years and up

The Lim-5 fighter is a Mikoyan MiG-17F built by the Polish aviation industry under Soviet licence. The start of LIM aircraft production at WSK-1 in Mielec led to a significant development of the aviation industry in Poland. The Lim-5 aircraft were equipped with the WK-1F engine, which was also produced under licence. Polish aviation received the first Lim-5 aircraft in 1957. In just over 3 years of production, a total of 477 aircraft were built. The camouflage and markings of the model created by COBI refer to the historic aircraft, which is now a technical monument.

The LIM-5 (MIG-17F) model aircraft was designed in 1:32 scale and consists of 575 high-quality elements. All markings and inscriptions on the model are imprints that do not rub off during use. The set has movable elements such as wheels and a hinged cabin in which we can place a sensational figure of a Polish pilot, equipped with the emblem of Polish aviation. The camouflage reproduced from the blocks is particularly beautiful. The set includes a presentation stand with a sign with the name of the set and the nationality mark. Thanks to the intuitive instructions with clear symbols, assembly is easy. The aircraft is a must-have for all aviation, military and military technology fans. It is also a perfect addition to the Armed Forces, Cold War and Korean War collections.
