Product Description

The SU-100 was a Soviet SPG that entered service in 1944. The creation of this model involved the need to strengthen the self-propelled artillery at the end of the war. The newly designed D10 - 100 mm gun was mounted on the slightly modified hull of the popular SU-85. About 4,500 units of this vehicle were produced between 1944 and 1946. The SPG was very popular and served in dozens of armies around the world. Several countries still keep the SU-100 in readiness.

The SU-100 SPG model is fully equipped with COBI components. By including many impressive pad prints, the vehicle could be faithfully reproduced. The set does not include decals, only prints! And the prints won't scratch or smudge even with heavy use. The model is equipped with an efficient caterpillar traction, a movable gun and an opening hatch. There is a detailed engine under the maintenance hatch. The set includes blocks with Soviet and Polish markings to choose from, another innovative and fun feature COBI brings to the set. The set is completed with a soldier figure with a Mauser rifle, cap and red banner. The easy-to-read manual includes a list of blocks and statistics that you can use in the free COBI Historical Battle Game.

This COBI kit is ideal for building dioramas that reproduce the Eastern Front. The SU-100 is the perfect gift idea for all ages and a great start to your COBI building kit adventure.
