1880: China, board game, for 3-7 players, from 12 years (DE edition).
1880: China is a railway construction and share game for 3 to 7 players. It is based on the 1829 game by Francis Tresham and is part of the successful 18XX series. The visual facelift of the new edition is provided by atmospheric illustrations by Sophia Zhong.
In classic 18XX style, you compete to make the most money. To do this, you buy and sell shares in China's historic railway companies, expand networks and run trains.
The more successfully the company is put on the rails, the more valuable your shares become and the higher the chance of emerging as the winner from the competition. Because at the end of the day, it's who owns the biggest fortune in cash and shares that counts - tough business.
