White Hat - card game, for 1 - 6 players aged 9 and up (DE/EN edition).

Winter is just around the corner and with it the time to wear hats.... but no hats are like those worn by those morally concerned with the cyber security of digital systems and their sensitive data. White Hat is a challenging hacker-based board game based on an interesting adaptation of the trickster mechanic to earn the right to advance in cyberspace. In an attempt to prove themselves as hackers, players compete against each other as they negotiate their personal "hat" through the cyber world of FBI servers, internet cafes and digital sleuths on the way to the game's objective, the Critical Asset.

White Hat is a refreshed version of our earlier game Black Hat for 1-6 players. White Hat features a special solo variant that not only incorporates many elements of the multiplayer game, but also pits the player against the game itself. This is a seriously head-scratching puzzler, as all hats are in play and the solo player is fully responsible for the progress of all hats. White Hat features all the Kickstarter extras and player feedback of Black Hat in a standard DDP small box format (155mm x 220mm x 24mm).

The game components of White Hat are language independent. The rulebook will be released in at least English and German, and the campaign may unlock additional localised versions. We intend to produce only one variant of the game, so each box of White Hat will have all Stretch Goals and Goodies unlocked.

A two-sided board and alternative location tiles mean there is a wide variety of possible set-ups to keep the game fresh and players on their toes.
