Zombicide: Night of the Living Dead comes with two different ones Versions Equipped by Survivors: Romero and Zombicide. Both versions are represented by double-sided ID cards. The events that the survivors have to survive and live through determine what kind of survivor they will be.
- Romero mode: The Romero mode represents the classic characters of the film who are desperately trying to fight the onrushing ghouls consist. They have fewer skills and it is more difficult to fight the ghouls with the right equipment.
- Zombicide mode: The Zombicide mode stands for the development of characters. These survivors are team-minded, stronger, and looking for a bit of good ol 'ghouls-around-the-corner-fun. But they are not indestructible either. If you meet old relatives who have been turned into ghouls, this throws you back into Romero mode.
