Things were very statesmanlike in the time of Emperor Trajan. The Roman Empire is experiencing its heyday under the optimus princeps. The players act in six different areas of the empire. They have to advance the construction of cities, keep an eye on the expansion of the empire, develop maritime trade, steer the senate, satisfy the people and, last but not least, use Trajan's favour to their own advantage.
