Turn it over, hit it, and grab the card! A colourful pile of letters in the form of cards lies on the game table. For which category is a term currently being searched? Clothes? And 'BANG!' six hands dash to the cards in the middle of the table. The fastest one lands on the R. "Ringelsöckchen" is heard from one of the players, who immediately grabs the card with the R.
With only 50 playing cards, the game "Schnapp, Land, Fluss!" succeeds in entertaining a group of up to six players for a long time. One player turns over one of the 12 open letter cards so that the category on the back is visible. All players now try to find a term as quickly as possible that firstly fits the given category and secondly begins with one of the letters shown on the cards in the centre of the table. The first person to find a matching term hits the corresponding letter card with their hand and says their term out loud. They keep this card because points are awarded for it.
