Now that they are the owners of their own ship, the heroes travel to the planet Castrovel, Home to the best universities in the Pact Worlds to investigate clues they found on a mysterious asteroid.
On Castrovel, their findings point to an ancient elven temple city called the Temple of the Twelve, hidden in the depths of the overgrown jungle of the planet. But the heroes must be faster than two other factions – the outcast corpse fleet of Eox and the Cult of the Devourer – who are also interested in the secrets of the asteroid. They have their own plans for the ancient, alien superweapon when they first find it!
