Heroic Works in Aventuria
The Heroic Works Archive VII contains seven short adventures that will keep your players all over the continent of Aventuria on their toes, because the work of a true hero is never done! For this anthology, all adventures have been supplemented with additional material and a foreword by the respective authors. Six of the seven adventures come from the Heldenwerk series, the seventh was written exclusively for the Ulisses Con season 2023.
Prayer to the Deep takes you to the Deep South, to Cape Brabak, where secrets from ages long past wait to be discovered in the cliffs beneath the waves.
A forgotten mine has been rediscovered in the Red Crescent, and soon various voices are heard claiming the mining rights. Who can mediate between them?
Puppetry takes place in Mirham, southern Aventuria, where decadent nobles, insidious conspirators and black-artist shapeshifters are interested in a mysterious statuette.
Wolfheart takes the heroes to a Nivese village where the local shaman is dying. Her last words seem like both a legacy and a plea for help.
The Trovere is the result of an ambitious project, namely the aventurisation of Verdi’s opera Il Trovatore. Can the heroes, with Rahja’s help, cheat the fate of a tragic love affair?
The Curse of the Starfish sets the scene for the rough and tumble life on the islands off the Albernian coast. The heroes embark on a search for a missing child, and only when the sun sinks into the sea does the cruel truth come to light.
Frevlerwacht ultimately tells of a joint mission between the churches of Praios and Rahja, in which wild magic must be defied and an ancient evil rendered harmless.
