The faith differs from other cults in many ways. It knows no priests and rarely expresses itself in direct signs. Instead, it is the little things in which the believers recognise their God. The discussion about him and the interpretation of his commandments are of central importance for the Novadis and their self-image.
In order to better understand the culture and the faith, the vademecum outlines its history, describes important people and places as well as the diverse view of Rastullah and his nine wives. To illustrate the different schools of thought, selected laws are discussed and their interpretation in everyday adventuring is presented.
The vademecum also provides tips for designing Novadis and presenting them at the gaming table or in LARP and explains important terms in a glossary. Due to the upheavals and innovations in the Depths of Khôm, it ends with a chapter containing master information and outlining these changes.
