DSA Adventure – Ambush & Assault (Tools Anthology) DE

Ambush & Storm Attack is an adventure anthology for the 5th rule edition of the traditional fantasy role-playing game The Black Eye. It was developed for playing with floor plans and markers from the tools of the master boxes, but can also be played without these aids without any problems.

Marked cards lead the group of heroes to Svellttal, where they meet a gold prospector during a game of Boltan, who recruits them as escort. Together we go into the wilderness of the Svelltland, to a place where one suspects gold and star metal.

While the heroes learn how to dig for metals and take care of setting up the camp, they have to face all sorts of dangerous challenges: a bloodthirsty tribe of orcs, wild monsters and greedy competition make life difficult for them.

In the Adventure Days of Fire, however, the group of heroes ends up in Almada. They are given the task of checking that everything is in order in the small village of Wildenfest. Arson broke out there, and the villagers whisper behind their hand that supernatural powers were behind it. The heroes follow some traces in Wildenfest, have to deal with robbers, wild animals and the arsonists – and finally come on the trail of a danger from a long-forgotten time.

In The Cult of the Black Dagger, the heroes in Riva happen to witness a kidnapping in the town hall square and try – heroically as they are – to help the victim. The adventurers track down a dark cult that has no good plans for its kidnap victim. In the classic manner of a dungeon, the heroes invade the cultists’ hideout and have to deal with hungry crypts, fanatical cultists, undead and even worse creatures.
