Star bearers, that’s how those elves are called who wore the star-shaped mark on their shoulder that made them chosen for higher tasks. According to legends, they once directed the fortunes of the fenvar, the high elves, until the armies of the dhaza, the nameless unlight, put an end to their empire.
Today they live in the settler town of Gerasim, far from the great empires of Aventuria Elves and humans coexist peacefully, linked by trade, knowledge exchange and the mysterious legacy of the peoples. Guests like the heroes are also allowed to participate. But a magical cry for help penetrates the community, which apparently comes from the deep forests of the wood elf heartlands of Sala Mandra. Great disaster threatens and dark shadows stretch out greedy arms for the strong power of light. Reason enough for the magical school of the direct route to equip an expedition that dares to venture deep into the Elven Lands to help – certainly not a safe undertaking, because not every wood elf clan is open to guests. And doesn’t it mean that some travelers have lost themselves forever in Madaya’s dreams that lay like clouds of mist over the land?
In this first adventure of the Star Bearer campaign, themes, companions and enemies of the heroes are introduced. It marks the start of a journey in which the heroes follow in the footsteps of the feysala, the song of life, a star bearer.
The Aventurian Almanac is recommended to deepen the background, but is not required to guide the adventure.
