The Ordo Defensores Lecturia, founded by Rohal himself before the emergence of today’s mage guilds, looks back on an eventful history. The ODL is the largest of the magical orders and possesses an enormous treasure trove of knowledge and artefacts. However, not only mages are accepted into its ranks, but also other magically gifted people and even those who lack any magical talent. Such a large and diverse community has numerous points of contact with other organisations and is shaped by a wide variety of currents and influences, which this vademecum takes up.
