Havena, the mighty metropolis on the Sea of Seven Winds, one of the largest trading cities in the Middle Kingdom, is a place where light and shadow lie close together. The magnificent beauty of the patrician quarter of Oberfluren attracts countless travellers, as does the colourful, wild joie de vivre of the entertainment district of Nalleshof. But right in the neighbourhood are also the disreputable Orc Village and the sunken and dangerous Lower Town.
The Heroes’ Quarter follows three Haven heroes of very different origins: a patrician, an impostor and a fence. Together they search for a good-for-nothing who has disappeared somewhere in the shadows of the city. In the process, they have to deal with a gang of thieves, an efferdess, a mysterious cult and a giant octopod.
