The Khôm desert is a hostile place, crossed by hospitable nomads and camel caravans laden with magically powerful artefacts. The Novadis, desert warriors on noble steeds, rule in tribes over the lands of the Caliph, who unites them among themselves as one people in the belief in Rastullah, the one-god of the tent. On the peaks of the mountains of the desert kingdom dwell barbarians who worship blood and passion. In the fertile valleys of Thalusia, poor rice farmers and rebels wrestle with the tyranny of their rulers.

With this concept album, the desert kingdom comes alive at your gaming table. It was composed by Ralf Kurtsiefer in cooperation with the DSA editors to musically illustrate the diverse cultural backgrounds of Novadis, Thalushim, Ferkinas and desert elves.

The musical pieces on this CD accompany this journey and lead through regions, cultures and events typical of the game in the desert realm. Especially the regional adventure about the Queen of Tears offers numerous opportunities to use sphere sounds to increase immersion at the game table. But this soundtrack is also excellent as background music when creating new heroes, reading the Desert Kingdom’s Hero’s Breviary or generally getting into the mood for the facets of the region.
