The Khôm desert is a hostile place, traversed by hospitable nomads and camel caravans laden with magical artefacts. The Novadis, desert warriors on noble steeds, rule in tribes over the lands of the caliph, who unites them as one people in their belief in Rastullah, the one god of the tent. Barbarians who worship blood and passion dwell on the peaks of the mountains of the desert kingdom. In the fertile valleys of Thalusia, poor rice farmers and rebels wrestle with the tyranny of their rulers.
Matching the regional game aid The Desert Empire, the maps offer a detailed overview of the Novadi Caliphate, the mountains of the Ferkinas and the fertile lands of the Thalushim. In addition to a two-part out-game overview map of the region, a political map with all the sultanates, emirates and tribal territories of the Novadis and Ferkinas, the map set includes an atmospheric in-game map of the Caliph’s chroniclers, as it could be available to your heroes within the game world.
