Between the rugged mountains of Kynhold and the steep cliffs of the Crystal Sea lies the Arwinger Mark, the easternmost province of the young and proud empire of Selenia. From here, the Emperor’s merchants set out into the vastness of the sea and many a trade train passes through the fertile Mark on its way to the harbour city of Arwingen.
But this image of peace and prosperity is deceptive, for many a dark creature roams the forests and swamps of the Mark. The harpies of the mountains are just as feared as the rattlings from the swamps and the omnipresent ruins of the ancient drakelings – but even more horror stories are told about the creatures that originate from the Devastated Lands north of the Draugis and repeatedly invade the Arwinger Mark. Brave adventurers are needed to face these dangers and protect the upright inhabitants of the Mark!
The Arwinger Mark is an expansion for the Splittermond role-playing game, in which the province that gives the game its name is prepared and presented as an explicit region for beginners. The Mark offers a wide range of opportunities for adventurers of lower hero levels as well as inexperienced players to experience adventures and campaigns. Accordingly, the volume not only contains a detailed description of the region, but also two adventures that invite you to start playing immediately.
