More than 100 years have passed since the kingdom of Midstad fought in the war against Zwingard and the nobles of the realm lost their lives. The mercenary leader Aden Bloodaxe reached for power and had anyone who might stand in the way of his claim to the throne eliminated. This included the magical advisors of the former rulers, the sorcerers and witches of Midstad. And on the day of his coronation, he had the statue of their goddess Hekaria torn down in the capital. And the stone lips of the three-faced one cursed the Harreburg dynasty and heralded a child who would come to overthrow the old order. And now, at last, the time seems to have come. The oracle in Ioria has spoken of a child of destiny and the truth-finder Corino sets out in search of the prophesied bringer of change.
The Curse of the Witch Queen, written by successful author Stefan Unteregger, was the first adventure in the Splittermond role-playing game series and was published in 2014. In 2019, he continued the story with The Child of the Witch Queen, which concluded in 2020 with The Pact of the Witch Queen. In this deluxe edition, you will find the campaign reprinted for the first time in a single volume and expanded to include descriptions of cities and ideas for the time between adventures.
