Triceratops is driven by a metal spring that transmits the power via a reduction gear, which turns the shaft that drives the four legs. An eccentric gearbox allows the tail to swing in synchronisation with the leg movements so that the dinosaur moves smoothly – just like in nature. This wonderful walking dinosaur model is a wind-up model of a full-grown Triceratops on a scale of 1:32. The key for winding up the model is hidden between the dinosaur’s shoulder blades.
Take out the key and insert it into one of the circular locking mechanisms on the sides of the dinosaur’s belly.
