Eriador, the Lonely Lands described in The Lord of the Rings™, are brought to life as never before for this sourcebook for The One Ring™, the official role-playing game based on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. A region often described as desolate becomes a crucible for adventure and provides many hours of gameplay.
– Chapter 1: Mists of Eriador provides a description of the regions that were once part of the Kingdom of Arnor, with a focus on the city of Tharbad.
– Chapter 2: A Storm Rises provides the GM with a number of narrative elements aimed at creating a possible future for the land of Eriador as a whole. This includes a description of many impending dangers, gamemaster characters and their goals.
– Chapter 3: Landmarks describes twelve interesting locations in the style used in the core rulebook. These locations represent both “historical” locations, such as those mentioned in The Lord of the Rings™ or The Hobbit™, as well as others developed specifically for the game.
