In CULT: Lost Divinity, the world around us is a lie. Humanity is trapped in an illusion. We don’t see the great citadels of Metropolis that tower over our tallest skyscrapers. We don’t hear the screams from the forgotten basement, where hidden stairs lead us into the inferno. We do not smell the blood and the burned flesh of those who were sacrificed to long-forgotten gods.

But some of us see impressions from beyond the veil. We have this strange feeling that something is wrong – some madman’s rambling on the subway seems to have a hidden message and when we think about it, our withdrawn neighbor doesn’t seem entirely human. As we slowly discover the truth about our prison, our kidnappers and our hidden past, we can finally wake up from our artificial sleep and take control of our destiny.
