The floor model is a replica of a Japanese naval fighter called Harumi. This fighter was designed to take off from a submarine’s catapult and then provide a surprise attack. The TAMIYA model kit version impresses with its accurate fit as well as the detailed workmanship, such as the double float and the tightened nose of the fighter plane.
