The floor model is a recreation of the North American P-51D Mustang aircraft, which many consider to be the best fighter aircraft of the Second World War. The P-51D is considered by many experts to be the definitive variant of the Mustang, as it was the most widely used. The aircraft was equipped with a bubble canopy, which allowed the pilot to have excellent all-round visibility. Flight racks on the P-51D allowed the transport of drop tanks or even bombs to increase ground attacks. Many saw the aircraft’s service during the Korean War as a fighter-bomber, and they even served in part until 1980 in nations where the air force was much less developed.
