The floor model is a replica of the Grumman F14-A Tomcat Black Knight. Since the first flight in 1970, the F-14 Tomcat of the US Navy flew one of the best air defence fights, ever it was world famous. From 1990 onwards, the F-14A was additionally used for long-range missions and, with its superior weapon systems, as an air-to-ground strike aircraft. The fighter jet was first used in 1984 and then in 1990 during the Gulf War. From 1996, the fighter jet was equipped with a pod system, which is a weapon system equipped with infrared lasers.
