The stand model is a replica of the F4-J Phantom II used by the USA in 1967 during the Vietnam War. It was the Phantom II fighter aircraft that started the air battles and attacked the MiGs of the North Vietnamese.
The F4-J was an all-round aircraft equipped with Mk.82 bombs and Sidewinder missiles for self-defence and often provided the necessary air support for ground units. Production of the Phantom II ended in 1972 and was then replaced by its successors, the F-14 Tomcat and the F/A 18 Hornet. A total of around 250 F-4Js were produced.
