This floor model is a replica of the Japanese battleship Yamato on a scale of 1:700. The high level of detail is reflected in the replica’s 46-cm guns, as well as in the widened bow and the armoured belts, which are also realistically replicated and reflect the appearance of the Yamato 1941. The main turret features separately mounted gun barrels. For example, there are 15.5 cm secondary guns as well as 12.7 cm high angle guns for air defence on board. In addition to the armament, the detection systems, such as the rangefinder and the compass, are realistically reproduced and offer a detailed overall picture in addition to the boom crane.
