In 2018, the British car manufacturer McLaren announced a new super sports car: the McLaren Senna, named after the legendary racing driver Ayrton Senna. Only 500 units were produced worldwide. Now the 800 hp sports car is available as a model kit in 1: 24 scale. The realistic representation of the car is made possible by a single monocoque part to which body parts are individually attached. The parts are designed to be assembled into blocks of the same colour, optimising the painting process. The twin-turbo V8 engine and visible sections of the complex environmental engineering are also faithfully reproduced. The McLaren Senna can be assembled as a European, US or Japanese version. Separate parts for brake calipers and discs ensure that the wheels (and brake discs) turn.
