The floor model is a replica of the Yamaha YZF-R1 presented at the Milan motorbike show in September 1997. The road bike was developed for maximum cornering, which was made possible by the 150 hp of the four-stroke 4-cylinder engine. The motorbike was a high-end product at its time due to the high-quality parts used, such as a high-quality aluminium swingarm and a Deltabox II aluminium frame. The TAMIYA model kit version impresses with its high degree of accuracy of fit as well as the faithful reproduction of the original.
