The Katana was first introduced in 1980. The concept of the strikingly aggressive yet very aerodynamic body design was based on the appearance of the Japanese Saumrai sword “Katana”. The power unit consists of a 4-stroke, 16-valve, $-cylinder DOHC engine with 1,074 cc displacement and 111 hp.
