Q.E. (Quantitative Easing) refers to an expansionary monetary policy in which a central bank prints new money to buy government bonds or other securities to stimulate the economy.
It’s 2008, and the economy is in the dumps. You play one of the largest nations in the world, and it is your job to support the economy by printing money to bail out businesses.
Various companies are auctioned off to save them. At the end of the game, each of them will be worth victory points. Since you control your nation’s central bank, you own the money printing machines and can bid whatever you want: 99? All right. 99 billion? Also OK.
Bid up the companies to get points, but be careful. If you are the nation that has spent the most money during the game, you are eliminated.
Make sure you start the inflation wave at just the right moment.
Notsuitable for children under 36 months.
