This product contains six new hirelings (River People Flotilla and Otter Divers, Prophets of the Warm Sun and Envoys of the Lizards, Highway Bandits and Bandit Gangs).

Hirelings can be added to the game with any number of players. With fewer players, the hirelings add new characters to the map, increasing excitement and offering more tactical possibilities. With more players, some Heuerling cards are flipped over to reveal new special abilities that can be used to develop unique and powerful strategies.

A basic game of Root is required to play.
