The old emperor is dead, the new one is young and inexperienced, the electors lust for power. Industrialisation and numerous new ideas and inventions are changing a society that is still partly stuck in medieval bonds. Sinister creatures of steel and fire, conspiracies and sorcery threaten the world. The civil war has left the Darklands in a chaotic state.
