The players want to become First Mayor of Hamburg around 1890. They compete with other candidates in the city for influence, power and status. With the help of their hand cards, they construct various buildings on their land, expand the zoo, the botanical garden and the city wall. This gives them special abilities, money and influence. Whoever has the most influence after the final scoring wins and can call themselves the First Mayor of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
