A game that really gives you food for thought!

It has few rules and only 18 pieces. The successor to “4Mation” is a worthy addition to the successful “2Players” series from Piatnik. The aim is to place three matching tiles in one of the nine squares on the game board. That sounds easier than it actually is.

Left, right, up or down – as long as the path is clear, a selected stone can be moved to your heart’s content. It can turn at right angles as often as you like, but under no circumstances can it move diagonally or jump over other pieces. As soon as it hits an obstacle, that’s it. Then it’s the other player’s turn. For example, if a green pentagon has just been moved, neither a green stone nor a pentagon may now be moved. But don’t worry, there are eight more pieces to choose from, namely the yellow and purple circles and squares.

The aim of the game is to move three pieces of the same colour or shape as quickly as possible into one of the nine 2×2 squares marked on the game board. Whoever manages to do this wins the round and will probably be invited to take revenge straight away. ‘3Motion’ is quick to learn, strategically challenging and addictive in no time at all.
