The different meanings of the words make searching for and finding the matching pairs a real challenge, even for experienced adult word artists, and demand quite a bit of transfer capacity from the grey cells. Already in the first edition of “Clearly Ambiguous”, which has been successful for years, brains are in demand.

In the second edition, too, the two to six people (aged eight and up) look for terms with double meanings when the 54 pictures are shuffled and laid out face down. If a memo fan finds objects that share a term when two tiles are revealed – for example, music notes and school notes or windmill and mill game – he or she may keep the unequal pair and try his or her luck again. The game ends when there are no more tiles on the table.
