Crokinole is a game for two to four players. It demands both technical and tactical skill from its players. The aim of the game is to be the first to reach the predetermined number of points. The players try to place their own wooden discs as centrally as possible on the round board by flicking them and pushing the opponent’s discs away. The score is calculated after each round and the player who reaches the score first wins. The game is similar to carrom, shuffleboard, curling or marbles. Crokinole originated in Canada and is widely played in North America. The game has simple rules and is great fun to play.
